HSIL rises on getting nod to raise funds up to Rs 250 crore

HSIL is currently trading at Rs. 375.00, up by 1.05 points or 0.28% from its previous closing of Rs. 373.95 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 379.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 383.80 and Rs. 371.00 respectively. So far 21859 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 423.00 on 10-Oct-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 81.25 on 31-Oct-2013.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 406.00 and Rs. 371.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2476.74 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.57% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.71% and 16.71% respectively.
HSIL has received an approval to raise further capital under Companies Act, 2013 through private placement of up to Rs 250 crore for prepayment of long term/short term debts. The board of directors at their meeting held on October 29, 2014 has approved for the same.
HSIL is one of the leading domestic players in container glass and building products segments. Under the second segment, the company manufactures and trades in sanitaryware products, faucets and wellness products. It has five manufacturing facilities in India, of which three are located in Andhra Pradesh, one in Rajasthan and one in Haryana.
