Bank of India is currently trading at Rs. 286.90, up by 1.50 points or 0.53% from its previous closing of Rs. 285.40 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 287.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 290.00 and Rs. 281.15 respectively. So far 599397 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 356.75 on 26-May-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 166.00 on 21-Feb-2014.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 290.00 and Rs. 264.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 18449.01 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 66.70% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.56% and 7.74% respectively.
Bank of India has reported a rise of 26.41% in its net profit at Rs 786 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 as compared to Rs 621.77 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 17.02% at Rs 12099.45 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 10339.55 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2013.
Gross non-performing assets (NPAs) increased to 3.54% in the July-September quarter as against 2.93% in the same quarter previous year, while net NPAs stood to 2.32%.
